Here are some pictures of Aishwarya Rai at an event for her new movie: Provoked. The movie is about a housewife, and a mother of two in London, who sets her abusing alcholic husband on fire and kills him. She gets sentenced for life (no shit), and in prison she befriends a rich white lady, who teacher her English and mentors her. Her case comes to public attention eventually and gets media exposure with people protesting for her freedom–since her husband used to beat her and brutaly rape her.

Anyways, I haven't seen the movie yet… but I'm sure she gets her freedom in the end–since Bollywood movies are usually predictable. For those of you who are still wondering who Aishwarya Rai is… one word: Google.
