Meredith Vieira from the Today Show admits suffering from depression and anxiety:

I think you can develop depression, to be honest with you. I think sometimes maybe the magnitude of life just sort of seeps into my brain," she said, adding that she often has a hard time driving over bridges — afraid that she might plunge her car into the water. "I've got three great kids and a husband and we're all fine. We're so lucky. But then other times there's a weight that comes on you. Pressure, self-inflicted pressure.

I wonder if Meredith Viera's depression has something to do with The View girls. In the past, Vieira has dissed her old collegues from The View (which includes Star Jones) in an interview with Time Magazine. Meredith thinks it's "very sad" what's happened to her old show. She also added that, "It's hard to watch. It sort of became a joke."

Anyhow, I hope it's not something serious. In her blog, Meredith mentions that she had a very bad week last week. Here is last weeks video of Meredith (falling) and Will Ferrell skating at the Rocafella Center.
